When asked how the CSLC got its start, Founders, Leslie and Beulah Greer, said the bud of an idea developed in their mind when they became devastated at the thought of not seeing their child graduate with her class of 2001. The hurt was overwhelming for them so they imagined that it must have been even more devastating for their daughter who had worked hard for her graduation date, May, 2001. Our Mission for the Community Students Learning Center is to promote community and educational change, by providing state-of-the-art leadership development, and personal improvement opportunities for youth, adults, and seniors.
Our goal is that members and program participants will posses high self-esteem, that no child is left behind, that each child will excel educationally, live their dreams, increase their life span, build wealth, munity leadership.
