Success Built on Hard Work & Determination

 

Community Students Learning Center (CSLC) appreciates one of their hardest working team members

within the company - Antwan Clark, from Lexington, Mississippi. Upon graduating from Antonelli College,

where he studied Computer Technical and Networking Support, he became the IT Specialist and Website

Developer for CSLC.

 

However, there is more to the story…

 

On December 13, 1996, my life was changed

forever following a car accident on my way to school. I can remember opening my eyes the first time and

seeing the nurses and doctors standing over me and wearing masks. Then, all of a sudden, one doctor

pulls his mask down and says, “You will never walk again”.

 

I was 16 years old at the time. Can you imagine going through life in a wheelchair? It wasn’t a choice for me.

“So what do I do?” I thought. “What did I do to deserve this?” Those were questions to which I didn’t have the

answers. I did, however, have the answer to how I was going to overcome it and be successful despite this

obstacle that I encountered.
